It was recently revealed that the brand new 2021 Kia Optima is getting some great new upgrades that provide an exciting new appearance! The exterior can easily be compared to luxury sedans like BMW, Audi, or Lexus thanks to these upgrades providing a classy and distinguished appearance. Known as the “K5” in the South Korean-market, where it was revealed this week, the newest model year coming of this midsize sedan will showcase a more aggressive yet luxurious look.
Door mirror caps placed lower of the doors, a unique front quarter glass that you won’t find on current Optima sedans, and a blunt grille with a three-dimensional mesh that resembles shark skin are just some of the improvements. You will also get the option of choosing between the naturally aspirated 2.5L engine with up to 191-horsepower or the turbocharged 1.6L with up to 180-horsepower. These will both be paired with a smooth transitioning 8-speed automatic transmission.
