It is difficult to believe that summer is drawing to an end! Labor Day is often seen as the unofficial ending of the summer season, but its origins are far different. Labor Day actually began, and still stands for, a day to celebrate hard work of Americans, through enjoying a well-deserved day off. From roots in the Industrial Revolution, President Cleveland signed this holiday into law officially in 1894.
